Our guests consistently say this was the best experience of their whole vacation and that’s our goal! We are passionate about what we do and it shows in the quality of our horses and staff.  Sure, there are other trail riding opportunities near the ski resorts but most of the public trails around them are very popular high-use/multi-use areas and are limited to strict single-file horseback riding along with the mountain bikers, hikers and dogs. They cannot offer cross-country or off-trail riding as it is not permitted on these Forest Service lands. If your idea of horseback riding is having more freedom, being away from the crowds, and immersing yourself in the quiet serenity of the mountains, you have found the perfect place at the Rusty Spurr Ranch. We offer 1, 2 and 3 hour scenic aspen and mountain top rides and authentic Colorado cattle drives.
